The secret to a flavorful life is cooking with the right ingredients. This has been Jessica Jacobson’s mantra since she taught herself how to cook. Growing up in a busy, single parent household, there wasn’t much energy spent on preparing meals. So, at the age of 12, Jessica began clipping recipes from her grandmother’s Bon Apetit magazines and trying things out on her own. “I’d hand my mom the grocery list and we’d head to the store to shop together. Once back home, it was just me in the kitchen, creating.”
This passion for creating delicious food continued into Jessica’s married life where she was smitten with her husband’s family recipe for a steak butter that was used on special occasions. The butter was so good that aunts and uncles would always say “Someone needs to sell this stuff.” Well… that someone is Jessica who started Fireworks in 2016 with the motto, “Everything is better with butter.” Since then she has expanded the line with other infused butter recipes and found there was something new to serve the world.
