Cinnamon Sugar Buttery Valentines Day Puff Pastry

Get ready for a scrumptious strawberry heart pastry that's easy to make! All you need is puff pastry, cream cheese, strawberry jam, diced strawberries, and a Fireworks Cinnamon Butter Burst. Preheat the oven to 400°F and mix cream cheese and jam. Cut heart shapes from the pastry, add the cream cheese mixture and diced strawberries, then bake for 14-15 mins. Once they're done, let them cool before drizzling with melted Fireworks Cinnamon Butter Burst. sizzle. spread. boom.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry

  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp strawberry jam

  • 1 Fireworks Butter Burst

  • 2/3 cup very small diced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Thaw the puff pastry and set it aside, and preheat the oven to 400 degrees. 
  2. Next in a small bowl and using a rubber spatula, mix together the cream cheese & jam. Try your best to smooth out the mixture so there are no clumps remaining.  
  3. Leave the cream cheese and jam mixture in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it. This is so that the mixture isn’t  runny when you go to spread it.
  4. Cut your pastry into heart shapes using a 3-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter, and make sure to space them as close together as possible so you can get as many as you can out of the sheet. 
  5. Then transfer the hearts to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Making sure to space the hearts 1 1/2-inches apart. 
  6. Add about 1 tsp of the cream cheese mixture to the center of each heart then spread outward. 
  7. Then you will add the strawberries over cream cheese layer.
  8. Bake in preheated oven 14 - 15 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  9. Then let them cool on a wire rack then and glaze with your Melted Fireworks Butter burst.
