Butter boards are having a moment!
Are you watching Tik Tok these days? Insta reels? If so, chances are you are seeing the butter boards everywhere! Of course, we love this! We couldn't be more excited to ride this wave of butter trendiness. We are working on setting up an ordering system for these on this website. We will have everything live in the next few weeks so please keep your eyes and ears tuned in for announcements on when you can buy from us. There are many reasons to love using butter boards for entertaining.
1. Beautiful and easy carefree styling
2. Far less expensive than charcuterie and cheese boards
3. They can be reused a few times by covering with wrap and refrigerating or freezing after each use. If reusing a board with edible flowers or things that get wrinkled or turn brown, just pick off the old ones and replace with fresh ones.
Read below on how to make your own butter board:
What you'll need:
about 4-6 oz of butter
about 1/4- 1/2 cup of toppings, more if you like the whole top covered
a wooden cutting board or platter, ceramic or wood work well
Dried Fruit (cherries, apples, apricots, raisins, etc)
Fresh Fruit (plums, apples, oranges, mango)
roasted veggies (we like garlic, shallot, onion, tomato, squash, zucchini)
Spices and seeds (cinnamon, everything but the..., cardamom, nutmeg, flake salt, cracked pepper, poppy seeds, sesame seeds)
Edible flowers (roses, nasturtiums, sweet peas, calendula, snapdragons, chives, alliums, etc)
Directions:It really couldn't be simpler. Just let the butter get to room temp and spread on whatever board or platter you choose to use. Add your toppings, slice some bread, get out crackers, wash veggies and trim for dipping. Display the dipping items on a separate plate.
